I created this poster to clearly communicate the size of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in a manner that everyone would understand. By stating facts about the size of the spill in relation to countries throughout the world, a viewer can much more readily understand the scope of it.
The printed poster is, rather than the 100% black on 95% black that you see here, 100% black in two layers with the top layer being a glossier paint, which shows the animals in the black box through texture and light reflection.
